Our property is located in the centre of Specchiolla, near the historic grocery-tobacconist's "Filomena"; from the back gate you can enjoy the specialities of "Dolce e Salato" — bread, focaccias, pastries — and you can ask the owners for ready-made dishes on request.
At the end of the road, the sea — just one hundred metres from the B&B.
Turning left you can walk along the seafront and find "Clipper Cafe", a very well-equipped bar where you can enjoy aperitifs and drinks comfortably seated at the tables provided.
Behind the "Clipper Cafe" you will find "La Locanda delle Giare", pizzeria and restaurant.
Next to Clipper Cafe, "La Lampara" by Gerardo, the Specchiolla fishmonger's with an adjoining fried-food restaurant where you can taste specialities of land and sea with always fresh fish and seafood.
Continuing along the seafront you will find "La Lucciola", a multi-service venue with a pizzeria, also takeaway, where you can eat the pizza ordered at the tables provided while listening to music and with no surcharge; in the same venue there is an ice-cream bar, a tobacconist's, a minimarket and a games room, as well as a pine forest with benches.
Continuing further you will find "Lido Tiziana", a beach club with an equipped indoor area and outdoor area with pizzeria and restaurant bar.
Continuing further, another venue dedicated to dining, "Dentro Mare": as the name says, you can dine admiring the sea and tasting the restaurant's specialities in a refined and elegant setting; you can also buy fish products from the adjoining fishmonger's, near "Lido Sabbia D'Oro", as the saying goes, a name a guarantee, with a coastline of golden sandy shores protected by the Specchiolla dunes.
Leaving the front pedestrian gate of our B&B, turn right to the end of the road, just 50 metres, we will find the aforementioned "Filomena" grocery tobacconist's; turn left, a few dozen metres, and we will find the "Caffe del Mare" bar, a small but picturesque bar affiliated with the property, opposite a small square and beyond the square the recently renovated Specchiolla church.
Behind it you will find a pine forest where, every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, the historic Specchiolla market is set up; here, besides typical products, you can find stalls of fruit and vegetables and all kinds of goods, including used bikes.
At the beginning of the market you will find the "Il Chiosco" bar, a splendid venue entirely made of wood with ample spaces, completely immersed in the greenery of the pine forest (another bar affiliated with the B&B), with areas equipped with games for children.
From Il Chiosco bar, looking towards the sea and following the road that runs along the sea on the right side, you will find "Laguna Blu", a very popular beach club, with free entry and very good prices for sun loungers, deckchairs and umbrellas.
Continuing, "Lido Bianco", another beach club in Specchiolla.
And walking, walking, walking, or simply using our bikes, you can get as far as Torre Guaceto, enjoying the whole coast between Mediterranean scrub and very fine sandy beaches, passing through the wonderful bay of Penna Grossa, repeatedly awarded the Blue Flag for its crystal-clear waters.
Continuing along the seafront from the Sabbia D'Oro side, the free beach with golden sandy shore, shallow sandy seabed where you can walk in the water; continuing you can find other beaches where you can see a thick Posidonia vegetation on the seabed; continuing along the coast you reach a splendid bay where you can see rocky coastline and after a splendid beach, the beach of Pantanagianni, awarded the coveted Blue Flag.
Definitely a beach to try and visit, you will find equipped areas and inside a thick pine forest where you can spend a day in serenity; you will find equipped areas where you can also order your lunch.
